Why wont my widgets vanish since I removed them from the dashboard?

  Hi. I have Clean Home design by Mid Mo Design and have tried removing widgets from the sidebar by following directions and pulling them into the inactive box on the dashboard, but the widgets will not deactivate. Can you please help?

  The widgets that are visible on your blog now are part of the theme. I’ve added an empty text widget to your blog which replaces (thus removes) all other widgets.
