Why won't my Word "cuts" "paste" into WP?

I use Google Chrome to access WordPress. Over the past few days, it’s become difficult to paste Word content into WP… I’ll right-click on the page, and “paste” refuses to show… or, it shows up only after much jiggery-pokery. Yes… I DID clear out the cache. I know that you just changed the WP settings again, is that the cause?

That doesn’t help me at all. When I right-click over the page to bring up “paste”, it won’t deploy, I get “back”, “save” instead. I post frequently, and this is the first time that this has happened to me in seven years.

Have you tried the “classic” Microsoft Word shortcuts?
Ctrl + C to copy (from word doc)
Ctrl + V to paste (click cursor in Post editor and then use the keyboard shortcut)I just gave it a try in Chrome, since you mentioned that’s your browser of choice, and it worked well for me.

That appears to work… for now. Obviously, there’s some “bugs” in your latest “update”. It’s like Vista (I know, my earlier machine had it)… it stank at first, but the Service Packs got it back up to snuff. God willing, this is the same sort of thing.
Be good… and pass the jug. There be little gremlins waiting for all of us behind each corner…
