Why won't some posts "stick" to my homepage?

    I have the oxygen theme with my home page set up in the showcase format, which I love. However, sometimes I cannot get my posts to “stick” to the home page. I will mark them as sticky, and instead of showing up in the showcase at the top, they don’t show up at all on the home page. If I unstick them, they will show below the featured posts. What is preventing these posts from being “sticky”? Is there a way around this?

    I suggest you go to the Themes forum and look through the Oxygen related threads. It’s the trickiest theme we have.
