I have had this problem for the past week using IE9. I don’t have this problem in the same blog using Google Chrome. Today I uninstalled IE9, IE8 was automatically restored, and the crop header image problem went away. So – it’s some setting problem in IE9 that I have not yet isolated. @jamesamorrison
You are right. Last week we were advised of this IE( issue which is to be fixed this week.@me2013
I tagged this thread for an update on the fix from Staff. You can download wither Firefox or Chrome here http://browserhappy.com -
There is a problem with editing images – including cropping – in IE9 currently. Other browsers including Chrome, Firefox, and even IE8, as you discovered, work fine. :-)
Sorry for the inconvenience, we hope to have this fixed soon!

I am also having this issue. I am unable to create sticky posts with images size 750px.
The scale option is also a a bit of an issue from time to time. This has been going on for a bout a week.

@musiqexpo
That’s not the same issue. Please click this link and start your own thread https://en.forums.wordpress.com/?new=1 -
Images should once again be editable in IE9 – you can crop, flip, rotate or otherwise make edits. Learn more about image editing.
musiqexpo – as timethief says, yours is a different issue. To better assist you, please start a separate thread.
