Why wont the "customize" page design tools and preview load?

  Cannot get the “customize” page to load my design tools or my website in the preview window. Parts of my website still do not display properly, which is a new problem for me (within the past 24 hours). Despite all of your advice written here (which I followed), I still am not able to remedy the situation and get my site back up and running properly. I would appreciate any help i can get.

  Hi there,

  Right now your site’s main page, http://cosmicscribbles.com/ doesn’t have any content. This 404 Page Not Found Error is preventing the Customizer from opening properly. You can designate one of your existing pages as the static front page from https://cosmicscribbles.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php (choose the page you want to use from the Front Page dropdown). Once you have content on your homepage you should be able to use the Customizer.

  Please let me know if that doesn’t fix the problem.

  Hello!

  Thank you SO much for your help. I was really going in circles there trying to figure out what could have been wrong. I am new to all of this, and so am not quite as savvy as I probably should be. Thanks to your advice, the problem was resolved in mere minutes! I really appreciate you taking the time to respond to my question. You’re the best! : )
