Why won't the url link to the image widget?

  The URL that links to our Paypal button on our sidebar does not work. When we click the Donate button it doesn’t go anywhere.

  Did you follow the Paypal button instructions in the Support documents here, rather than on the Paypal site? It’s a bit fiddly.
