Why wont the video published in my last post show on the home page?

When I publish a post the video will not show up on the home page. It shows the title on the top and an option to choose a feature photo when I am logged in but it just shows a white box for someone visiting the site. The site is used to feature a video of the day. You can click on the post and it will show the video but I also want it to show on the home page.

The area on the front page of the Structure theme is only used to display a featured image:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/It isn’t possible to display a video in that area.
