Why won't the widget image appear on mobile devices, like iPads?

  On my site twelvewinters.com, the widget image doesn’t appear on iPads and other mobile devices; however, it appears on desktop computers. It’s just a jpg image so there should be no problem. And my widget images appear just fine on my other two sites. Why won’t the widget image appear on tablets, etc.?

  I think the issue is that the image in your sidebar widget was simply too large at 3600 x 3600 to be resized to the small size needed for the mobile theme. I uploaded a 500 x 500 version of that image and replaced it in the widget. Sure enough, it appears in both the mobile and desktop versions now.
