Why won't WordPress map my domain?

  WordPress is saying that the domain I own is not registered, therefore it cannot be mapped, but it is registered. I want to point my blog at this new domain as I bought it recently, so I can start creating my site.

  Even if you go to the domain in a browser, it says it is registered.
  Why won’t WordPress recognise this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there!

  Where within WordPress are you trying to map your domain? From the Dashboard of your site or at wordpress.com?

  Also, if you haven’t already, you might want to check out Step 2 of this guide for mapping a domain to a WordPress site by updating your host’s DNS settings: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

  Apologies if these are steps you’ve been trying already and are still being met with an error about the domain not being registered. Would you mind pasting the exact error message or linking to a screenshot of it? :)

  Also, I forgot to mention that sometimes it can take up to 24 hours after a domain is registered to become usable, so even though it is registered it may not be completely mapped by your host/registrar.
