why wordpress deletes image without warning?

An image in a post has disappeared, no warnings or message of any kind. If deleted for any reasons, do we get to be informed before or after the action taken by WordPress? This is the link:

If you uploaded images into your blog from your own computer then they will be found in your Media Library. http://en.support.wordpress.com/media/
However, if you deleted them from WordPress.com servers by deleting them from the Media Library then we cannot help you. They are gone and you must upload them again.If the missing images are ones you have linked to on some other server somewhere else online that does not allow hotlinking to images then images will not be displayed.
The paranoid implication that Staff have either the inclination or time to go deleting images from blogs is patently ridiculous and hilarious! I’ll bet you have not read the ToS. http://en.wordpress.com/tos/ note if you don’t have the prior permission of the copyright holder to use the images you are in breach of copyright.

thank you for calling me paranoid. I could not load the question as I wanted because the system kept telling me it has to be in the form of a question? Next time don’t be paranoid and don’t jump to conclusions yourself. Does the other server deletes without WordPress consent? Or do WordPress receives a request to delete? After NSA, do you not think it normal to paranoid about what goes on in the net? Thanks for nothing, lady.

My images and polls are being removed too. Oddly, the post was announced on my Facebook page (as I set it up to do), but when I view my own blog, the whole thing is gone! It’s back in my “drafts” even though I’ve published it like 5 times. The poll I have in the blog also isn’t updating despite my edits. What is going on?

Yes. Bandwidth thieves who hotlink to images are not notified.
After NSA, do you not think it normal to paranoid about what goes on in the net?

Was there anything ‘unusual’ about your image? In these, despite that other lady’s comment, there have been a lot of censorship about things related to dissent. My image was the Statute of Liberty with a mask as if kidnapped. I put it back again to see what happens. My questions is: does wordpress receives requests to delete material from servers based on copy right etc, or do these servers have direct access to our material?
