Why WordPress is so difficult to use?

    Everyone says that its a lot easier to use WP than hand coding the site. In my experience, I think its the opposite. Ive been trying to build a four page websites and its been like building a rocket.

    I installed a theme but trying to maniplaute it or tweak some of things like changing the font color, uploading header image across all pages, or simply adding content on the front page has been difficult.

    It has Onetake theme. The theme looks beautiful on the thumbnail pic, but doesnt look the same once its installed.
    As you can see, all what I want is to move the text on the image to blow it, change the font color and resize the image. And that has been a puzzle I couldnt figure out. Note, this is the third theme I try.
