Why wordpress makes it so difficult

    Maybe I’m missing out on something, but for example

    it should be a given that anyone who wants to build a website would most likely want a coherent header/footer on every page created – why doesn’t wordpress just makes that a default underlying function across every theme, instead you have to insert codes/plugin for this simple thing

    using wordpress is so SO frustrating if there’s a better option I’d go to that in a heartbeat am I the only one?

    I’m truly curious because I’d really like to use this platform, but it’s so frustrating to use. Am I missing out on a reason for all these extra steps/(what I consider) unnecessary complications?
