Also another issue. The categories now have two listings a favourite and the full list. When you go in to edit or create a post the categories are set on the favourite listing by default.
The issue that has caused for me is that when I go in to edit a post that I have already published and if one of the categories that I checked is not in the favourite list then it ignores my last category selections when I save my new edits.
Which means that through more clicks I have to click on the full category list, then select again the category’s that I had already selected before when I first wrote the post then save again.

I set up my blog on WordPress because I was delighted with its usability and reliability. Now I am looking elsewhere. I spend more time posting and reposting than I do actually writing. Images don’t load most of the time– it’s hit or miss, try and try again– and I’ve given up on widgets altogether. Firefox doesn’t work any better than IE. Perhaps a third browser is necessary?
Frankly, I’d rather pay a monthly fee for the old dashboard than use this one for free.

inserting pictures into posts is a nightmare. I updated my Flash. I emptied my browser-cache. nothing works. Although the pictures ARE uploaded. I tried the browser upload too. Same result. Why have you ruined something that worked so fine??

Hate it! I have had nothing but headaches–my uploads of graphics are much much slower and often error and time out. Even after updating my Flash program. What happend to searching for drafts if we cannot finish a post we are working on–I still cannot find how to look for unfinished drafts–the “crunching” of photos is awful and makes things look like doo-doo. I used to be able to choose full image and have it be a full image now it takes images 500pxl wide and re-sizes to 388. Unless I upload new media–save post–view post-click image–get page link–go back to edit screen–delete image that inserted on upload–and do an image link. My gosh! That is too much work. I hope some of these things get addressed real soon. Recently I gave up my domaina nd had it point to my wrodpress blog–but now I am rethinking my decisions. Oh BTW I am using Internet Explorer 6.0.

I am pretty new to WordPress. I have only been blogging for about 3 weeks so you can imagine how I felt, not having the chance to see forums, with 4 kids and a lot opf volunteer work, when I had to adjust to new blog stuff. I can’t even see all the widget boxes on the right to change videos on vodpod. I couldn’t add a video to the post today with their “add media” section. I had to shorten the code to the youtube video I uploaded yesterday. Did I mention that I am new to the whole blogging stuff…………..I don’t even know how to write code, but I figured out you can still add it in directly to the post. haha!
I would like help with my widgets please. Since I have only been doing this for 3 weeks, I can switch to another blogging server(or whatever you call it), but you guys have lots invested in it. :-( -
