Why woudl I be getting insecure browser with internet explorer version 10?

    I am not able to get onto wordpress blog stats or reader – screen is just blank. When I do get to dashboard a message appears that says I have a version of internet browser that is insecured version. I’m using IE 10 and have had no problems getting into wordpress and using it’s utilities until today.

    Could I have inadvertently turned some kind of protection that WP needs on internet explorer tools?

    I need help, since I can no longer use the functionalities of WP.

    Again I’m using IE10 and Windows 8.

    Additional information: my Reader and Stats will not open, and I’m unable to open “Notification” button top-right of screen.

    Went into internet options tools, security for trusted sites, did here what WP said to do, and under Miscelllaneous, enabled “display mixed content.”

    Still getting message as noted above from wordpress on dashboard and still unable to open Reader or Stats page.

    Please assist.
