  Why wouldn’t text posts ever count towards your storage space?

  As the WordPress.com support document states, ‘All the WordPress.com blogs come with 3 GB of space for uploaded files and images.’ Thus, storage space is the space consumed by uploaded files and images and not the one that you have written there.
