Why you still keep the files that I deleted on my account?

  Hi,

  Even I deleted this file on my account, when I google my name, I can still reach that pdf file. Could you pls remove it from your servers? Because it includes my private info, I deleted it but it is still over there.

  Did you delete those files from your media library or only from a post or page on your site? They appear to still be there in your media library.

  Yes, I did those. But I still can reach those pdf files.

  As a volunteer I cannot access your media files without having a link.

  Both files are gone. Usually, the file cache is purged not too long after the blog is deleted.

  No, it isn’t. you’re looking at a cached version. I get a 404.

  Please realize that Google and other search engines do not clear their caches so they will still be available for 6 weeks or more. Once they get 404 not found addresses when they index your site, Google will eliminate that link. Most folks don’t look at the cache on search engines but you just have to be patient for a while until it’s gone. (other search engines may function differently from Google.)

  Also, the file is probably cached in your browser, try clearing your browser cache. Both files are definitely gone.
