Wide images in Tonal theme

  I chose the tonal theme for my blog because I liked that, in the demo site, the images are very wide and prominent in the posts. My blog will be photography focused so the larger the images, the better.

  However, in trying to create test posts for my blog, I have been unable to get the images to show up as wide as they do in the demo site.

  I know my images are large enough (in terms of actual pixels).

  Can anyone offer any suggestions?

  I tested the tonal theme on my test blog and tried posting images a couple ways. I first posted the image in the post like you had done and had a similar result (the image not being the full width of the post block, even when my image was above the pixel size on the tonal demo site.)

  I then set the same image as the featured image for the post. This then made the image to full width of the post box. The featured images appear above title at the full width and the images in the post itself are the smaller size.
