Widen the page in Dara
-
The site that I’m referencing is mine, but what I’m asking about isn’t something that’s any different from what’s hosted on WordPress.com.
I’ve a site that’s based on the Dara theme, and the first page is ideal – the text is wide. But, any subsequent page is narrower, somewhat significantly.
Can someone please point me in the direction of where it can be widened??
Also, what’s weird is that the first paragraph is duplicated at the bottom, with a “… Continue reading” link. Where’s that controlled?
Thank you!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
I’ve a site that’s based on the Dara theme, and the first page is ideal – the text is wide. But, any subsequent page is narrower, somewhat significantly.
Since you’re evidently referring to a self-hosted WordPress.org site, with a different version of the Dara theme than is available on WordPress.com sites, I’d recommend submitting such questions to support forum here:
https://wordpress.org/support/theme/dara/.However, perhaps a quick explanation might help. On the WordPress.com version of Dara, even if you choose the widest optional page template “Full Width, No Sidebar,” a page will display with relatively wide margins on each side, UNLESS it is the page set as the front page, in which case the margins will be much thinner. The WordPress.org version of Dara that you’re using might produce comparable page width behavior.
Also, what’s weird is that the first paragraph is duplicated at the bottom, with a “… Continue reading” link. Where’s that controlled?
I see that you’ve started a topic regarding this issue in the WordPress.org support forums, here. I’d suggest that you continue to pursue a resolution to that issue there.

Aha, I didn’t know about that forum, thank you! I knew that I was breaking the “rules” of this one, but I didn’t know of anywhere else! But, now I do!
I’ll read what you’d posted, but I’ll take my issue to where it’s supposed to be!
