Wider Blog Roll
-
Hello, I’m looking for assistance on making my blog roll wider than what the default currently is for my Coraline theme. Would be nice if it could take up 3/4 of the total page if that’s possible. I’m presuming its a CSS Customization solution which I’m not adept with at the moment.. Appreciate any help with this, thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Let’s try this style which increases the width by a half:
.two-column #container { max-width: 1105px; } -
Please widen the header image by approx. 100px to fill up the whitespace created to the right due to the above CSS.
We also have to center the menu, but later.

THANK YOU CHAITANYAMSV! It was definitely the look I wanted with the CSS code you provided! Is there a code to center the scroll blog because it was just slightly left centered and left a few of my articles thrown off…
again, thank you sooo much! :D -
Great!
What do you mean by scroll blog and and could you link me an article that was thrown off. I can’t find any thrown off articles at the moment. I did not look thoroughly.

Yes, thank you. I’ve saved the CSS code you gave me earlier so you could see what had happened… here is the link:

Where is starts to list the Ingredients, is where its off…
Appreciate your assitance!

I am sorry, but I can’t see anything different happening at ingredients section. This is what I see: https://cloudup.com/c-PAYYLRVsu

Both the ingredients and the instructions are showing up as lists. By default, bulleted lists are often offset to the right a bit by using a big left margin. If you want to move lists to the left a little bit, you can reduce that left margin.
Here is an example you can try out. It will move all bulleted and numbered lists a little bit to the left for all main content areas in the site. In your recipe on the http://veganhealthandyoga.com/2014/12/04/vegan-jalapeno-poppers/ page, it will work to make the left side of the list line up a bit closer to the left margin of its content container element.
.entry-content ul, .entry-content ol { margin-left: 1em;; } -
I want to thank you both for your support! I actually removed the CSS code and then just reloaded it and it seemed to take care of the problem. I also EDITED a few articles that were not laying out the way I preferred with the CSS change too.
Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH for your excellence!

You are welcome.
Have you considered extending your header image? Currently there is little whitespace to the right of the header image.
Your site already looks great but if you wish, you can add a slightly wider header and use the following CSS to center the menu items
#access li { padding-right-30px; } -
You rock Chaitanyamsv! Thank you for that little extra detail because it helped make my photos a little larger too! Such awesome support!
Lupita, a very happy wordpress user
