Widget and Footer updates only showing on some pages

    Hi – I made some edits to the Widgets that were visible on my site, as well as the footer using the new custom footer feature of the latest WordPress release. What I am noticing is the *none* of my main pages are showing these updates. But child pages DO show these changes (actually, not all, there is one that doesn’t). I don’t know if this has anything to do with the new release, but it doesn’t make sense.
