Widget Area Not Available
-
Hi there,
I’m currently using the ‘Expound’ theme on WordPress.com, and have noticed that the ability to customise the ‘Widgets’ area has suddenly been disabled. When I try to access this area to change content, I’m met with the following response:
‘There are no widget areas on the page shown, however other pages in this theme do have them.’
This is despite originally being able to add content on the homepage.
Is there a quick solution to this issue?

Can you please confirm what browser and version you’re using?
There’s an issue with IE11 currently not displaying Customizer widgets.
Workarounds are:
– Use a different browser, like Chrome or Firefox
– Use the WP Admin widgets area: https://walesdeanery.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php -
The issue with seeing certain widget areas in the Customizer in IE11 should now be fixed. If you’re still having any problems, please try clearing your browser’s cache. Let me know if you continue to have any issues.
