Widget 'Areas' Missing from MH Magazine Template
-
I bought the MH Magazine theme. In the template there are a number of ‘widget areas’ besides the sidebar, footer, header etc where you can implement widgets.
But for whatever reason when I go into customize and widgets the only widgets I can edit or add to are the sidebar and footer. Meaning the ‘Home 1’ widget area and the ‘Home 2’ widget area are missing – anyone come across a similar issue that can help?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi nathanarnolds,
thanks for using MH Magazine.
Please have a look at the theme documentation and follow the instructions to configure your theme: https://wordpress.com/themes/mh-magazine/support/
Meaning the ‘Home 1’ widget area and the ‘Home 2’ widget area are missing…
In order to place the widgets on your front page in the customizer, you need to create a static front page first and assign the widgetized “Homepage” template to your static front page, as stated in the theme documentation.
The theme related support forum for your theme is located here: https://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/mh-magazine
