Widget categories – drop down labelling
-
Hi there, I’ve just started a blog and so know next to nothing plus I’m thick. What I want are drop down menus on the right of my blog. I have created them, though don’t know how to get the label in the drop down (e.g. for the labels to be the titles of posts I’ve written). I also would like a category with drop down labels of countries for which I have photos. So, again, I need to somehow insert the country names into the drop down and then, do you know if its possible in the Oulipo theme page to have a link to a page perfect for lots of photos? Thanks!!!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Not being able to view your private blog makes it difficult to know exactly what you mean. Widgets do not display null data. Categories must be assigned to at least one published post in order to be displayed.

A gallery will display a set of thumbnail images attached to a particular post or page. http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/
I recommend that you use this tutorial which is presented as a series aimed at learning how to blog at wordpress.com. > http://learn.wordpress.com/

For a list of post titles in a dropdown that people can click on, you can use the archinves short code, but if you have long post titles, this can get messy since the longest post title will determine the width of the dropdown element that will be displayed.
