Widget Code for Flickr widget is not working.
-
I am trying to embed a widget code into my Flickr widget and its not working. Is this because I dont pay for a premium account? I see other WP blogs and this widget works fine for them. This is most annoying and confusing.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The Flickr widget works using your Flickr RSS feed, not a widget code. If you tried to insert a widget code generated by Flickr chances are it contains code that’s not allowed on WordPress.com and is automatically stripped out as a result. This happens regardless of any upgrades you might have, so getting a Premium upgrade won’t change this.
See instructions here for how to get your RSS URL and set up the widget. This is the only Flickr widget that will work here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/flickr-widget/
This will only work if your photos are set to public visibility.

no, I’ve seen others in Word Press using this widget from this site

and yes, my photos and my blog are set to public

http://www.roytanck.com/ is not a free blog hosted by WordPress.com, but a self-hosted website using the WordPress.ORG software. WordPress.org users have the ability to install any plugins and third-party widgets they wish. They also do not have any code restrictions on their sites.
On WordPress.com we can only install the widgets found on the Appearance ->Widgets screen of your dashboard. To a limited extent we can add our own widgets by pasting html into a text widget, but only certain types of code are allowed. The code on that website contains JavaScript and Flash code which is automatically deleted if you try to add it to a WordPress.com website.
