  since change to new ‘edit interface’ it is impossible for me to edit the content of my widgets. When I hit widget it shows sidebar. When I hit sidebar it shows widgets. When I select the arrow at a widget to see content, nothing happens. Same with links widgets. It is impossible to see the links (content) of any widgets.

  Can you confirm which site you’re working on by sending a link? I see one site on this account, but its widgets should be edited via My Site > Customize > Widgets > Sidebar

  A sidebar is a widget area, for what it’s worth. So they’re similar but not the same.
