Widget Custom Menu doesn't get saved

  I’ve been having this trouble in multiple sites and themes. I create a custom menu inside a widget, then hit Save & Publish. The loader graphic keeps turning forever and it never gets saved. Is this a known issue? Or am I doing something screwy?
