Widget Custom menu not showing on Sidebar on blog page?
-
This question isn’t for my site, its for this website:
https://mygoodmeasure.wordpress.com/I have created a custom menu for this blog, with a couple of post categories within it. However, it won’t appear on my blog page, only the posts. I have set it by using the visibility settings within Widgets. I have selected Show if Page is a Blog. I have got it showing on the individual posts page by creating another custom menu by creating another custom menu widgets set to Show if Page is a Post.
Weirdly, it will show if set to show on any of the other static pages i.e. About or Corporate.
Anyone help?

Sidebar on Pages and Posts
To visually distinguish between Pages and Posts, Capoverso displays your sidebar widgets to the left of the content area on Pages, and to the right of the content area on Posts. https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/capoverso/Why use the custom menu widget at all?
You can create a custom menu https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/view-all/ and have it display in the horizontal menu bar on every page in that theme. https://capoversodemo.wordpress.com/ -
Hi,
Thanks for your advice. But adding it as a custom menu didn’t work either as I had used up the locations it could go in with other menus. I added it as a category menu widget instead. That showed up on all pages.
However, it won’t align left on my static pages on my iPhone – just the blog pages (appears align right underneath all content). And on my iPad, it doesn’t appear at all!? Any ideas?
