  Hi there,

  A simple plugin such as those listed below to be able to control which pages widgets display on, and more advanced features like widgets displaying only to admins or under certain conditions should be added to the standard suite of plugins. WordPress.com need many more customisation options IMO if it is to remain competitive.

  There are already a few options for this in the widget visibility options but this is a pretty good idea.

  If you’re on a paid plan you can always hide widgets you don’t want on certain pages with custom CSS as a work around.
