Widget Display Issue

  I am using the Columnist theme.

  When I add widgets to any sidebar, the widgets display on the bottom of the page on the live site rather than on the side. I want them to display on the side. Is that possible?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Johanna,

  Unfortunately, the widgets only appear at the bottom as it was written into the theme this way. The support guide states the following:

  “Four widget areas are provided enabling you to add your own custom content directly below the content area in single posts and pages. Widgets will not appear in any template where multiple posts are displayed.”

  If you are looking for a theme with widgets on the the sidebar, feel free to check out the other themes here. Many of our other themes allow you to have widgets in the sidebar.
