Widget Display Issues

#1 Since there have been no responses in the Widgets Forum, except someone else with the same issue, so here is the problem:

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Using the simple Twenty Twelve theme and the Tag Cloud widget, Visibility “Show” if: set to “Page, All Static Pages” works fine, but I can’t seem to get “Page, Posts Page” to display a cloud on the home page which is where the recent Posts appear. Is there a combination of visibility command selections to get it displayed on the first displayed page, or is this just not possible?

#2Text in the Text Widget is not appearing in the Sidebar

Note: I have _NO_ code other than that selected from the text entry button bar (i.e italic, lists or bolding) on our WordPress.com pages so I should have zero “Code Security Restriction” issues.

The blog I need help with is wilson-peterson.com.

  • The Text widget is set to display only on category pages.

The Tag widget is definitely having a problem. For now, try hiding it from specific things instead.
