Widget displayed in Category view only?
-
My blog is http://blog.vmc.com, and I would like to have the Recent Posts Widget display only in the Category views, not on the main blog page. Is that possible, and if so, how? I’ve searched through these forums and the support area, and couldn’t find what I was looking for. Thanks in advance…
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This will get it off the home page.
.home .widget_recent_entries { display: none; }If you also wanted to remove it from the “about” page, you would also need to target that specific page by page ID as below.
.home .widget_recent_entries, .page-id-2 .widget_recent_entries { display: none; }One other thing I noticed. You have removed the wordpress.COM footer which has the link to .COM and the theme link and info in it. Removing this is against the terms of service here at wordpress.COM and can get your site suspended.

One other note. On CSS questions, please post in the CSS forum as it makes it easier for the few of us with CSS experience to find the people that need some help with CSS. Thanks.

Thanks a bunch! I wasn’t sure that it even was a CSS question, but now I know. I appreciate the help.

BTW, thanks for the heads up on the wordpress.com footer…I’m adding it back in right now.
