Widget Drama
-
I posted last night about phantom-deleted links still being present on my page. Now I just changed the font size in one of my text widgets and it somehow changed the font size on every widget below it. in my ‘recent posts’ widget and ‘recent comments’ widgets which are controlled in the css editor. How can I fix this? It appears that the coding for my widgets are bleeding into each other.

If the coding is bleeding, it is because you have a open tag. I don’t know which widget you changed so you’ll need to post the code here between backticks for us to see where the actual problem is.
-
This was the last widget edited-upcoming events. What do you mean by ‘open tag’? I found that if I end this widget with
<font size=”1″> it will return the widgets below to their normal size, but it adds bullets.<font size=”6″><font color=”#FF1493″>Bust Magazine’s Craftacular
<font color=”#000000″>
LA December 6
London December 6
NYC December 14 -
Oops here this should show
‘‘ ‘<font size=”6″>’ ‘<font ‘color=”#FF1493″>’Bust Magazine’s Craftacular ‘‘ ‘
‘
‘
‘ ‘’ ‘<font color=”#000000″>’
‘LA December 6 ‘
‘
‘London December 6 ‘
‘
‘NYC December 14 ‘

The only thing that does is change the ‘new’ bullets pink. I can put “<font size=1>” at the end and it restores it back to the original size it just somehow added bullets.

You have to be careful to close tags. In other words, <font… blah> has GOT to be followed with </font> in order not to affect everything after it.
Best thing for you to do is to write in the visual editor and then once you have things the way you want, switch to the HTML editor and copy and paste that info into the text widget.
(And a backtick is the key to the left of the #1 on your keyboard.)
