Widget Footer Displacement

  This is an issue also with the Academica theme’s widgets. The footer widget — no matter how many widgets I add — they stack onto each other on one small column and not spread out across the bottom of the page.

  I’d greatly appreciate any help you guys can offer, thank you!

  Hi there,

  Currently, the footer widget in the Academica theme is meant to display content in the lower right-hand corner of the page as shown by the “About” widget here on the theme demo:

  

  If you place multiple widgets in your footer, they will stack. The theme does not multiple footer areas that would spread the footer widgets across the bottom of the page.

  The easiest potential solution would be to switch to a theme that does allow multiple footer areas like TwentyEleven shown here:

  Would you be open to switching themes?

  Not a problem! Just a note, buying an upgrade wouldn’t unlock multiple footer widget areas in the Academica theme. You would need to switch to a different theme for that capability.
