Widget for displaying an iCal feed
-
I run a peer group (ITANA.org) and we have a calendar of upcoming events that we keep in out wiki (https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/itana/ITANA+Calendar). Moving to a Google calendar is not my first choice as I have multiple people running various sub-teams and peer groups within ITANA.
I would like a sidebar widget that would display a generic iCal feed from any calendar source (Google, Confluence, Apple’s iCal etc).
Thanks,
Jim Phelps, Chair, ITANA

We don’t have anything specific for iCal, but you can embed a Google Calendar following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/google-calendar/

Thanks Macmanx. I did see that post. Our calendar is not a Google Calendar. We have to manage the membership permissions of all of the members in the wiki. I don’t want to manage them in a Google group as well if I don’t have to nor do I want to make them log into Google to update their calendar of events then log into the wiki to build their agenda etc.
