Widget for embedding Lala player
-
Hello,
I’ve followed the instructions laid out in this post: http://clmartins.wordpress.com/2009/05/19/lala-has-landed-how-to-use-and-embed/ in order to embed the Lala player on my blog (I would have been happy with just individual track, but I can’t figure out how to do that at all, as the Lala embed code for that simply ends up being a link to the Lala site).
The result is that it doesn’t work for me…which you can see if you visit my blog (http://beercellar.wordpress.com).
I’ve asked Clearspring support (http://www.clearspring.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=2303&p=7541#p7541) and so far they have told me I should replace that url displayed in the box with a different one…but I’ve searched through all the Clearspring codes and I can’t find where that URL originates.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Cheers

I’m getting a “lost network connection” on the clearspring stuff when I try to view your blog, which means there must be some issues at clearspring. The post you referenced at clmartins does not show the player either and reports the same type of error.
Since this is not an officially supported wordpress thing, I don’t know that we can really be of any help with it.

Interesting. The clmartins player shows and functions for me…but mine is as you’ve seen it…

Thinking on that, I might not be the best person to check it because I’ve been having some issues seeing some players in blogs lately on my Mac (Safari and FF).
