widget for location?
-
I’d like to add a widget to show location, via something on a Google Map, such as via spotwalla.com or Google Latitude, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone found something that will work in a widget (and not get stripped out)? Fireeagle doesn’t seem reliable lately, so I wouldn’t want to use that.
Thanks for your suggestions!

I have read your other thread and don’t know of a widget you can use aside from creating your own by using a text widget. Have you seen this? http://en.support.wordpress.com/geotagging/

Thanks, timethief. Yeah, I’m not wanting to geotag specific posts (this is a separate question to the earlier post), but wanting to have a widget I can use to update my location, especially when travelling, so it would be updated more frequently than the number of posts I would add.

I understand that. These are our code restrictions > http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/ If you can locate a Flash widget that does what you want then you may be able to traform the code into a gigya shortcode and use it on your blog > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/07/22/gigya-shortcode-3-widgets/
