Widget for searchable database with dropdowns

  Hi

  I want to add a searchable feature on my site. I want to have a dropdown menu for Country and another for City, and when a visitor selects the city, it takes them to the info for that city. Do I need a widget for this? If so, which one?

  Unfortunately there isn’t a way to create a custom widget that would be able to do this. You’re going to need a self-hosted WordPress.ORG install to achieve this level of customization.

  If you do go the self-hosted route I’m not sure of what plugin you’ll need to create this widget but if there isn’t one you can build it. That’s the beauty of Open Source.

  I am using Bluehost to host my site. Basically I just want a way to create a page that doesn’t require a visitor to scroll through long list of cities, ie: choose the city they want and find the information they need straight away.

  Do you have a suggestion on a way to do this easily?
