Widget Help

  Hi, do you have any recommendations on what widget I can put in my blog that can invite more people to view my blog?

  I wanted to put a ‘invite your friends’ widget in my blog but I can’t since most of the free widgets out there are in javascript (I’ve encountered Bravenet already).

  Any suggestions? Please help me. Thanks!

  I don’t know of any particular widget you could use for this purpose, aside from social bookmarking icons one places at the end of each post.

  You could also make your own unique text widget simply stating that you enjoy visitors and commentary and would like your readers to recommend your blog to other bloggers.

  do you have news on whether polling is allowed yet in WP.com? i’ve read in WP.org that it’s feasible already.

  There is no poll widget as yet for wordpress.com but you can have a poll through an off-line provider. Because you’re new I’d like to offer you something that will help you locate information. This will introduce you to some basic wordpress resources.

  I think that was it. I don’t see the thread though that I was thinking of that discussed it.
