Widget help

    I would like to create a widget called “affiliates” which i have set up here:

    http://axm1992.wordpress.com/

    On the right hand side. However, it only allows me to put text in there and so i can’t make a piece of writing link to anything :S

    I tried to put HTML in the field but it just deleted all the HTML. I also tried BBCode but it just counted that as text =[

    Can anyone help? Thanks

    When I hear affiliates, I think of advertising and such which we cannot do here at wordpress.com. What exactly do you mean by affiliates? If it is links for monetary gain or to drive traffic to third-party sites, we are not allowed to do that.

    We cannot use javascript, flash, forms or iframes due to security concerns. Any security issue introduced by one will effect us all since we all use and share the same underlying files.
