Widget – I want my blog to show up on my other website
-
I want to create a widget of the wordpress page to place on another website. How do I do this? I have a widget box in my software to add this to the web page, but the normal web page address for my blog doesn’t show up. Where do I find the wordpress address that will be a widget?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We don’t provide support here for any sites not hosted by WordPress.COM. There is no embed code for a eidget. All WordPress.COM blogs are hosted right here and are not intended for embedding.
This is the RSS feed URL for your blog posts
http://heuringway.wordpress.com/feed/
Provided your website can draw from an RSS Feed then that’s all you need.
If it is not so equipped we do not provide support for any sites except WordPress.COM hosted blogs. In that case if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

I mean the word press page address will not work as a widget address. I do know where to find the address for the page itself.

Thanks. I did this a couple of years ago, then decided not to blog. It worked before, so I have to figure out what the heck I did. I thought it was easy. I’ll try the RSS feed and see I can figure that out.

I am also trying to do something similar:
Have my blog for a certain category show up on a page.
More detail
I want to be able to introduce a topic at the top of the page and then have the blog show up under it.All I have figured out how to do so far is to have a page with the introduction and then a link to click here for all the posts on this topic with a link to the category search link. This allows people to first read the intro and then click to see all the posts from that category.
I would love to have this all on one page, to have my comments at the top and then a feed of posts underneath.
This can be done on the main page with sticky posts, but I haven’t found how to do it on a subpage (so that I can have several different topics using different categories (or tags if that would work better).
Thank you for your help.
Blessings,

I had two questions and have been looking at so many sites and topics for an answer that I put a related, but different one above.
The more related question to this post is that I also want to have my posts from one wp.com site show up on my main site.
I am hoping that this will allow them to be on the main site, but not to everyone’s email that subscribe to the main site. (They will be stories from others that will may be interesting, but won’t be our writing so not what people will be subscribing from.) I am hoping to be able to have a feed on a page of our main site.
Thank you,

I found a way to have my wordpress blog show up on my website (www.lindaheuring.com) using iFrames. I am using iWeb for my site, which Apple no longer supports, but I have found it easy to use, so I keep using it.
The site where I got the how-to on iFrames is:
http://iwebfaq.org/site/iWeb_iframe.html
If you’re not using iWeb, I don’t know if this will help, but I wish you good luck in finding a way to get your blog to work as you wish.
