widget in my homepage

    I have installed ‘category list’ widget in my homepage for filtering of posts as per viewer’s selection of specific category. However there is a issue like missing of one or more posts of the specific category as well as repeat of post(s) of the specific category opted.
    For example: selection of ‘Butterflies’ category under parent category ‘Fauna’ shows that the post having title ‘Blue Tiger’ repeats twice whereas the post having title ‘Common Tiger’ is missing.

    Interestingly, when posts are viewed selecting other option like ‘Year / Month wise’, no issues like above is surfaced.

    Cleaning cache / cookies have no effect on this issue.

    Hey there @bimanghoshroy, I’ve done some digging on this and I think I see what you mean on this page:

    It seems to be intermittent; right now they’re showing correctly, but I know a moment ago I had two Blue Pansy posts, even though there is only one post with that name.

    I’m not sure what would cause this, but I did notice several posts have the exact same post date and time. A category page is supposed to display your posts newest to oldest, and I wonder if it’s running into some confusion with the duplicate timestamps.

    Would you mind changing the timestamps slightly so none of them are the same? The easiest way is to start here:

    You’ll see several posts with the same time stamps. Click “Quick Edit” on one, then you can adjust the time and update. Repeat with any others that are duplicates, then refresh the whole page to check for duplicates once more.

    Then, update us here so we can clear any caches on this side to see if it helps. Thanks!
