  Hi,

  I’ve been trying to add the Instagram widget to my blog. But, it’s not working!!! I have clicked the ‘authorise account’ button, it just does nothing. I have logged onto my account first (as it suggests) and the only way I could get it to authorise was to ‘open link in new tab’. I have cleared cookies, cache… etc.

  After it had authorised it just took me back to my blog page, but it had gotten rid of the ‘Instagram’ widget I’d tried to add!? If I log onto Instagram, it says WordPress is authorised, but there is nothing from WordPress’ end…

  And it’s not helped…

  The instagram widget sometimes act weird on the new admin dashboard.

  You can try this method by one of the members @dmcwong:

  I’ve helped a few people with this issue so hopefully it’s the same fix for you. What worked for me was to click on “Save & Publish” if you are trying to add the Instagram widget from Appearance > Customize > Widgets first. After you select the Instagram widget in the desired widget area and click on “Save & Publish” at the very top left corner, you will be able to go back and click on “Authorize Instagram Access.” If you are already logged in, it should pop up and appear after you save it. That did the trick for me. Hope that helps you!
