Widget Menu won’t open!

  For several days now, I have been trying to get into my Widgets menu so that I can fix my sidebar text, change some of my widgets around, and otherwise do what I need to do. When I click ‘widgets’ on the dashboard, the Firefox bar loads to about 3/4, then freezes – the widget page will not load.

  I have left it up and trying for over half an hour now, tried F5, tried accessing the menu through the URL. I’ve also changed my theme, and that didn’t help. Is this an issue that can be resolved?

  Have you tried doing the Cookie Dance? Log out, clear browser cache and cookies, restart computer.

  Nope…not a bit of difference. Unfortunate! I really want to open my blog properly, but that’s hard to do without an RSS button xD

  I would suggest updating to 3.5.5 – unless your operating system does not support it. I don’t know if that is the issue or not, but it would be worth a try.

  Do you have any script blocking add-ons such as noscript installed in Firefox? If so disable it, restart the browser and then try again. Also, check in your browser preferences and make sure that java and javascript are enabled.

  Also, have you tried a different browser?
