Widget on Academica theme

  On the Academica theme how do I get the SideBar Homepage Middle widget to show up on my homepage?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there, the Homepage Middle widget is displayed if you opt to show a static page (with the default template) as your homepage, instead of showing your latest blog posts there.
