Widget options not appearing on "HIVE" theme

I switched to the “Hive” theme and I can’t change any widgets in the “Customize” menu. Also I would like to add my instagram and twitter to the side bar.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there!
HIVE doesn’t display widgets. If you want to have a sidebar with Instagram and Twitter widgets, you’ll need to choose another theme.

However, if what you’re referring to in HIVE is your social media menu (as seen here), you can configure that by following these instructions:

Scroll to the area labeled Social Icons and you’ll find the installation steps.
