widget problem

  In theme twenty-eleven, the widgets disappear on single post pages. And if I then select “home,” in order to get back to my main page (at this time my only page), the widgets do not show. I have combed through every related answer and I cannot fix this. My blog if it helps:

  I need the widgets to show on every page, especially the home page.

  You current theme (Twenty Eleven) doesn’t support sidebars on posts, only on pages. The newer Twenty Twelve theme does support this and you can activate this theme at http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/twentytwelve/

  Thank you. I will look at that theme.

  But why does selecting “home” (my only page so far and where the posts appear) not show the widgets? The only way to see the widgets is when first going to the site.

  It seems the ‘Home’ menu item was linked to a post instead of the actual home page. I’ve just fixed this for you.

  I have the same problem with another of my blogs:

  thedivorcedivas.wordpress.com

  So I must be doing something wrong when I set up the menus. Any advice? Thanks in advance.
