Widget problem
-
-
When you drag it out of the sidebar, you take it down to the bottom of the page and don’t let go of it till you see the other widgets make way for it. Then it will stay down.
Which widget are we talking about here?
-
Text widget! I first added it, but later I want to remove it, then I’ll make a static page.
What I can do is just erase all the letters and title. But is there a way to get it off the sidebar? -
Yes, click on it and drag it to the bottom box where you got it from. When you see the other widgets make way for it, that is the time to let go of it.

Don’t hold on. Just drag-and-drop like you would a file. Click-and-hold, drag the widget out of the bar and back into the bottom panel, then let go. As long as you see a space being created in the bottom panel, or you drag it to the blank space at the end of the widgets, you can let go.
If you still can’t get it to work… what browser are you using?

I’m trying to include a widgetmate news scroll widget in my blog but the instructions on widgetmate’s site for how to do this in WordPress don’t seem to work for me. Where do I put the code for my new widget and what type of code works–considering WordPress doesn’t allow Javascript or recognize PHP.

Please do not post the same issue into more than one thread. I have answered you in the other thread. -
It seems to be a bit tricky, now it works as I drag it far to the left edge for a second of the box, the box starts to accept it back!
Thx
