Widget problem
-
I’m using the Digg3 theme.
A few hours ago I inserted two new widgets at the top of each sidebar. However, there is a strange fusion between those new widgets and the ones that were already there, as you can see when you visit my blog:Can someone give me a remedy for this? Thanks.

Do you any large images in the widgets? That can destroy an entire page and drop sidebars down to the bottom. Maybe no more than 175 pixels wide for images in widgets.

No large images or funky code. As a matter of fact I have exactly the same widgets on my Dutch blog, also using the Digg3 theme, and there I have no problems, though I have to admit that the widgets there were inserted months ago and not this afternoon.

Try adding some BREAK tags (HTML) within your Text Widget (the one that holds the Twitter badge). Place them after the image, and it should correct itself.

Thank you. This had indeed solved the matter. I had to add 7 break tags for the image top left and I find this quite strange, for I didn’t need any tags on my other blog, for exactly the same images in the same widgets on the same spots, also using the Digg3 theme. Is there an explanation for this?
I am happy to mark this thread as resolved.

WordPress.com did upgrade a couple of months ago. Maybe it’s that or maybe something changed on Twitter’s end.
