Widget problem – help

  I’ve tried to put a text widget in my sidebar but it doesn’t show up on my site, I just get a little blue square. Any ideas?

  Paste the code between backticks so we can take a look at what you are trying to do.

  Allowed markup: a blockquote code em strong ul ol li.
  You can also put code in between backtick ( ` ) characters.

  On most but not all keyboards, the backtick ` not to be confused with the single quote mark ‘ is located to the left of the number 1 key in lower case under the tilde ~.

  How did you get this code? That’s code for image mapping (multiple links on specific areas of an image), but
  a) all the links link to the same page,
  b) the image URL is wrong (image URLs end with the filetype extension, for instance .jpg),
  b) the image is 1×1 pixels,
  so the whole thing doesn’t make sense.
  What exactly were you trying to do?
