Widget Problem – Tarski Theme
-
I switched to the Tarski theme, after realizing that the theme I had originally selected would not allow a wider content section width without upgrading to allow CSS alterations.
I am now unable to edit and/or delete the three widgets that I had added while using the first theme.
Viewing the widgets page in my dashboard, I see a long list of widgets, with the three that I had selected missing the “add” button to the right of their names.
In addition, there are no widgets listed on the right hand column, where I had previously been able to edit them … this means that I cannot alter or delete the widgets I assigned earlier.
Also … one of the widgets I had selected – “archives” – simply doesn’t show up on my blog.
This is all very confusing … is this a flaw with the theme I’ve chosen? -
No it’s not a flaw of the theme. Normally you should be able to take over once you add any widget. Some members have also reported that they managed to work things out by first switching back to the previous theme and removing all widgets. But there’s also a widget bug around:
